John Holm

P. John Holm, LCSW, CSAC has been working with people in the treatment of their Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health diagnoses since 2001. John worked as Clinical Supervisor for the therapeutic community programs in the Department of Corrections until 2010 before transitioning to primarily mental health care with Hall Community Services. John obtained his Master of Social Work degree from Radford University in 2019 and has been a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor since 2003. John uses REBT/CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and psychodramatic techniques in his practice and specializes in work with veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and persons transitioning from incarceration to community. John is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and sees his current position as a continuation of his legacy of service.
